The problem

Professionals sharing their work through WhatsApp need one link for their profile, services and contact details. Creating and maintaining that presence should not require managing a full website.

Constraints

The flow needed to cover creation, payment, publishing and editing without customer accounts or passwords. Payment checks run on the server, and usage limits must hold across serverless instances.

My role

I built the creation and editing flows, Stripe integration and Postgres data layer. I also implemented image storage and the administration and support tools.

Key decisions

  • Save a pending profile before checkout and activate publishing after a verified Stripe payment.
  • Use expiring email links for editing instead of customer accounts.
  • Persist request limits in Neon so Vercel instances share the same counters.

The shipped system

Astro renders cards from Neon Postgres, while Vercel Blob stores photos and logos. The system brings together checkout, signature-verified webhooks, link-based editing and vCard contact downloads.
